 Based in central Florida, we are a small company who registered this domain back in the mid 90's. At that time we realized the potential of the domain in reaching hundreds of thousands of visitors, students, business people and a variety of other groups. It wasn't on our list of priorities at that time to develop into a self sustaining website. The reasons are too numerous to discuss at this time in any detail. The biggest reason was that the world wasn't ready for it, just as it wasn't ready for many websites back then.
So, here we are today 15 years later, and we are going to make an effort to get this site up and running. We have lofty aspirations which will require a sufficient amount of user participation and feedback. We hope that if you are reading this that you are one of the many who are also interested in seeing this site as a focal point for Mount Katahdin. We are happy to discuss with you any of your ideas. We are open to the idea of a joint venture and will respond only to serious inquiries.

goods, or services we would like to talk to you. Our store is not yet open but
it will be soon. And when it is open, your product could be part of our
inventory. Eventually, we will integrate some subtle advertising throughout the

 You are the reason why we are here. We will design this site to meet or surpass
all of your needs. That being said, we need to explain who this site is
targeting. You are someone who has been, or plans to be, a visitor to the Mount
Katahdin area. You are someone who has fond memories of Mount Katahdin or active
involvement in Mount Katahdin. You are looking for information on a variety of
activities. The Forums will help you in this area. You might be looking for
